Ardreal Holmes Jr. dominates in “BIG TIME BOXING USA” SERIES

There was a lot of excitement surrounding the USBA Championship main boxing event, hosted in Detroit, Michigan at Wayne State Fieldhouse — organized under Salita Promotions.

In what was a quick main event lasting up until the second round — super welterweight champion Ardreal “Bossman” Holmes Jr., from Flint, Michigan (153.2 pounds), defeated Detroit, Michigan native Marlon “Savage” Harrington (153.8 pounds) in 1.25 seconds into the second round.

This was undeniably a bout that left spectators on the edge of their seats at the fieldhouse. From the moment the bell rang, it became abundantly clear that both fighters were ready to bring their A-game and hunger for victory.

Both fighters showed a full display of skillful maneuvering and calculated strikes, as each jab and hook was landed with precision. Harrington — who is known for his endurance, pushed forward with relentless aggression, while Holmes Jr. showed signs that he can counter that with deft footwork and well-timed combinations.

The anticipation hung thick in the air as fans witnessed the momentum shift back and forth between the two fighters, each refusing to give an inch. It was in the second round where the tension really struck.

Holmes Jr. had unleashed a lightning-fast combination that caught Harrington off guard. Then a few moments later, Holmes had landed another hard blow that sent Harrington down in a mere 1.25 seconds.

Despite his valiant efforts to get back up, the referee and Harrington’s coaching staff waived off the bout and Holmes Jr. came out with the main event win.

In the aftermath of the match, Holmes Jr.,acknowledged all of the support and hard work that he and his coach has put in, day in and day out which has been the cornerstone of his journey. Holmes continues to remain as a super welterweight champion and now has an undefeated record of 15-0.

Reflecting on his performance, Holmes attributed his success to his dedication and a meticulously crafted game plan constructed by his team.

“I stuck to the game plan. Everything I worked for is paying off, thats how we drew it up – thats what my coach said was going to happen, and it did,” he said.

What’s next for Holmes?

Now, with his eyes set on new challenges and fresh opponents, he is confident about whoever is up next.

“Anything they put in front of me – anything, anybody – whoever is in the top 10, I’m ready.”
